The Science Care whole body donor program in Nevada links those that wish to leave a lasting legacy to medical science with the researchers and educators that need human tissue to in order to help advance medical science.  Each donor not only gives of him or herself but gives hope to future generations.  By donating to medical science and research, your body lives on by allowing doctors, scientists, emergency services personnel and university medical students in Nevada and across the Globe, the ability to research new life-saving medical and surgical procedures and techniques.

Who Can Donate in Nevada?

The most common question about donating your body to Science Care for medical research is… “Who can donate?” The answer is simple. Most everyone will meet criteria for whole body donation, including those with cancer, heart disease, arthritis and diabetes. Pre-registration is not required, but it is recommended for residents of the greater Las Vegas area and other Nevada cities. Joining the registry is the first step in opening the conversation with your loved ones and it is important that they understand your wishes in order to carry them out.

Science Care Accreditation

Science Care is accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks. 3rd party, independent, scientifically based accreditation is important to help shine a bright light on the quality systems and outcomes of the tissue banking operation to ensure safety and uphold the public trust.
