As the first whole-body donation program accredited by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), Science Care supports global educational programs providing human tissue to qualified medical researchers and educators. If you are conducting an educational program and require on-site support, Science Care’s trained staff can assist you. We encourage you to utilize our team in all stages including planning, on-site logistics and after your program concludes. Our goal is to ensure the dignity of donors, safety for physicians and improved outcomes for patients.

In addition, our knowledgeable staff can assist you in ensuring the proper tissue specifications, equipment, instrumentation and other needs are prepared for your training. With hundreds of training labs each year, our team is here to help make your program a success.
Trained laboratory staff will ensure on-site logistics are in order. Human tissue is handled with care to honor the intent of each donor and meet your specifications. In addition, our team is there to provide you with set-up support including assembly of equipment and instrumentation to create a safe learning environment.
Science Care staff assumes responsibility for the care and security of tissue including proper shipment, receiving at the approved facility, preparation, monitoring throughout the event and disposition. To ensure the dignity and respect of the donor, we require that only program leaders and trainees have access to secure training environments.
At the conclusion of your program, Science Care technicians will handle the human tissue for proper packaging and return shipping to our facility. All staff members are trained in appropriate final disposition that is in alignment with our ethical, legal and accreditation standards. The Science Care team is also on-site to provide you with support after the program including breaking down of equipment, clean-up and other duties as necessary.
