Barbara led a full life of many accomplishments. 64 years married to the man she married when 20 years old. 3 kids, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She got her master's degree in nursing from USF and became head of nurses at children’s hospital in SF. She wrote and got published; one of her books is still used in medical education industry today. She owned and operated a flower shop in Berkeley, Calif., for 10 years. She retired to the California foothills with her husband, where she made and sold thousands of handcrafted greeting cards. Most works of art! She was an inspiration to many, a tried-and-true friend to those who were lucky enough to be close with her. She was uncompromising in every endeavor she chose. Much like her siblings, the whole family epitomizes the Frank Sinatra song, She did it her way!!! Rest in peace, Mom.
