Tribute

My mother was my EVERYTHING! She was my best friend. She was a single mom and struggled many years raising me & my brother on her own. She was the kindest soul on earth. She taught me to give back every day. My mom took us to church growing up and taught us how to follow God. Faith was very important to her and our upbringing. She was a reading specialist teacher for grades Pre-K-12 for over 25 years. She loved teaching. She had a special bond with her students and loved all children. She loved playing bingo at our local community center, and everyone she came in contact with always said how sweet & kind she was. She has always been there for me, even at the hospital for the 3 births of my daughters. She was there from day one until her passing. She was my rock, and I was hers. I’m at peace knowing she is now with God and our loved ones who have passed. Her smile and kindness could not compare to anyone’s. She will live in my heart forever and will be missed so very much. Love you, Mama.
