Billy Blanks

Tribute

Billy was an amazing character. He married my mother when I was about 10 years old. He raised my sister and me like we were his own. He didn't have kids of his own. From the time I was old enough to turn a wrench, he had me learning how to keep a vehicle running. Billy was a very driven individual. I remember him working two jobs and going to school full time as well. He professionally did paint and body work, frame work rebuilds, and painted heavy equipment. If it needed to be done, he could do it. He had a work ethic to be envied.

Friends & Family

He was preceded in death by his wife(Diane Blanks)and stepdaughter (Shawna Dixon). As well as his father(Vernon Blanks)and mother(Imagene Blanks). He is survived by his two brothers (Tim and Jeff Blanks), sister (Cathy Parker), stepson (Talion Johnson), and daughter in law/caregiver(Kari Johnson). As well as several nieces and nephews.
