Tribute

Bonnie was an incredibly strong, loving, hard working mother and grandmother. As a single mother, she raised 3 boys that gave her a run for her money. She sacrificed so much in order to ensure the boys had everything they needed and more. If she wasn’t working her full time job she was finding ways to provide for the family like couponing, refunding and making and selling chocolate lollipops all around town. Even with all of this, she managed to find time to make friends and socialize through organizations like Parents Without Partners and the boy’s little league baseball teams. Her hard working qualities stayed with her all through her life as she was using her sewing skills to make and sell bingo bags, doodle wallets and other items all the way to the end. Even in her final weeks, she managed to fill three more bingo bag orders! In lieu of a memorial service (per Bonnie’s request) we ask that you celebrate her life by doing something she loved. Play bingo, go bowling, get crafty and create something fun. Go dine at one of her favorite restaurants like Red Lobster (get the scampi!), Sonny's Barbecue or any place that offers steamed Maryland blue crabs. Go to a breakfast place and order your eggs fluffy, bacon crispy and toast lightly toasted. Need a drink? Order a frozen daiquiri or a fuzzy navel as these were some of her favorites. Whatever you choose to do, don’t forget to laugh!
