Brent L. Walker, affectionately called "Pop Pop," unexpectedly passed away on April 7, 2026. Born December 30, 1952, he was a devoted husband, treasured father, and an adored Pop Pop. He was in agonizing daily pain but refused to allow that to affect his relationships with his loved ones- especially his greatest joy- his grandkids. Despite his constant pain and discomfort, he was an active and playful Pop Pop who showed his love everyday. Brent was kind, charismatic, and goofy. He would go out of his way to lend a helping hand and had a knack for making people smile. He wanted to donate his body to help others. He was our family's "Mr. Fix It." He enjoyed watching the Chicago Bears & Chicago White Sox and enjoyed traveling to different ballparks and stadiums with his son. Brent loved to listen to rock and hard rock. He introduced his love of Motown to his grandkids which led to karaoke and dance parties. Pop Pop- You will be missed beyond words. We know you didn't want to leave us, but we are so happy you are no longer in pain. You have always been our protector and we know you will remain with us always. We love you.
Brent is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Terry, son Brent P., daughter Shannon, daughter-in-law Gabi, son-in-law Matt, his precious grandchildren Adelyn, Oliver, & Willow, grand puppy Jazzy, and numerous extended family members.
