Bridget Darcie Evans Macon, 52, Homosassa, FL, passed away Sunday, April 9th, 2023 at the Citrus Hospice House in Lecanto, FL, surrounded by her loving family. Bridget was born on Wednesday, September 2nd, 1970, in Fairfax, Va. She was the daughter of the late Sheila Dianne Drennen and Fred Marvin Evans. Bridget was a 1988 Falls Church high school graduate in Falls Church Virginia. Bridget spent most of her life being a superhero mom and raising her kids. Bridget enjoyed traveling and spending her time at warm sunny beaches. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was the rock of her family and helped many children throughout her life. As Bridget fought the fight of her life, she was a warrior and wanted nothing more than to beat cancer, even in the end she was so very courageous and wanted to make a difference and with that, she did, graciously she donated her body to science to help others in trying to beat this disease, and giving hope to others for a brighter future.

Friends & Family

Bridget was a devoted mother to her four children who survive her, Tabitha Macon and her husband, Victor, Erikka Bellinger and her husband, Russell, Eben Macon and his significant other, Lydia, and Zachary Macon. Bridget is survived by her sister Penelope Podlejski, who was with her to the very end. Bridget is also survived by the love of her life, Wayne Thomas Jr, and his children Zoe, Ivey, and Eve. Survived are her 5 grandchildren Jacob, Delilah, Tripp, Evey, and Leif. They have all been touched by the love of their sweet Niena.
