Carl Scates

Tribute

Carl was the love of my life. He has always been a generous, loving person to all the people he has met in his life. He did a great amount of mission work for his catholic fellowship and seemed to be proud of the impact he had made. He was a jeweler by trade, and he loved to help a couple get engaged to be married. That was the highlight of his being. He leaves behind his two daughters, a daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren, all living in Kentucky. I am left behind, his fiancée, with a longing to see him again and an ache in my soul that will not seem to let up. I thought I was ready and at peace because he was, but the emptiness was something I was not prepared for. Baby, I love you! JoJo
