Tribute

For Cat, this was a generations-long tradition. Her grandmother, and her mother both gave themselves to science. This was something our family felt emphatic about, one last good thing we could do or give the world to find our peace. Cat loved, in spite of and because of all things. She was love, she was everything. She was the warmest person in the room, she was a terrible singer, her almond fritters were famous, and her laugh will live on with us. Her light will never go out.
