Charles Crutchfield
Tribute
Charles Elvin Crutchfield went to meet his creator on 11/24/25. He was born in Athens, TX 11/24/2025 to Viola and Elvin Crutchfield of Athens, Texas. He was the oldest of 5. Cannot say his life was that of an honorable man, but more of one who continued to seek it. In the early 2000’s he found Jesus. He was fond of old westerns—Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and The Andy Griffith Show being three of his favorites. He was also a die-hard Cowboys and Rangers fan through the years and loved wrestling. He was a collector of many things. Especially old bottles and memorabilia. He also loved drinking a cold Coca-Cola while watching the thunderstorm roll in from his chair outside. He lived a simple lifestyle. All the fancy stuff was never needed for him to be happy. Let’s not forget his love for the local Dairy Queen and those steak-finger baskets.
