Tribute

Christine Ann Parker was our first of three blonde babies, all born within three years. She was an amazing older sister, herding her little duckling siblings through a wonderful childhood of running through sprinklers, stargazing, camping, puppies, kittens, playing, soccer and softball, and learning to love. She was a Girl Scout for eight years, earning many badges. She excelled in high school academics (National Honor Society), drill, team, track, and youth leadership at church. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a BBA and marketing/management. She was a very proud mother of two dear children, John, 27, and Ryan, 25, both graduates of NAU. Although 61 years was not nearly long enough for us to have her, many people are not blessed to reach that age. She lived life fully, and her family will miss her laughter, hugs, holiday fruit salad, and just her very presence. We are so grateful that her organs could be used for life and her body to science. It’s an amazing gift and process. Her cremains will be released into the ocean in Southern California as she wished. She is at peace with our Lord Jesus Christ, and we will all meet again one fine day.
