Tribute

Christine Richards, 73, passed away peacefully at her home on January 10, 2023. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her, and ultimately, gave her peace. Christine was born to the late Edward and Mary Ann Twiss in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and had two incredible bonus parents, Chuck Mozer and Ramona Twiss. She was proceeded in death by her cherished grandparents, John and Helen Zemola. She was blessed with a loving family; 2 daughters, Traci (Michael) & Shannon (Brian), 4 granddaughters, Ashlee (Klay), Megan, Haylee, and Mylee, 1 great-grandson, Brayden, and another on the way, Declan. Chris was in the banking industry for 25 years. Upon retiring, she spent time enjoying her family, reading, coloring, watching Friends and Saints football games (Go Drew Brees!). Chris was a fan of country music, especially Toby Keith and Kenny Rogers. She also loved visiting Las Vegas, attending shows, and admiring the palm trees. There was no one more organized than Chris, she had a bag or a box for everything! You could always count on her to answer the phone and talk for hours. One of the most important things to note about Christine though is she was the kindest person you’d ever meet. If you like a piece of jewelry she was wearing, she would take it off and give it to you right then. She was constantly acquiring small, thoughtful gifts for her family to let you know she was always thinking about you. The world is a dimmer place without her bright light, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
