Tribute

On a day we will never forget January 15th, 2023. Crystel Baladez went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Crystel was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, Crissy Mom (grandmother), and friend who lived an incredible life. Our Crissy Mom was an avid hunter, golfer, pilot, and traveler, to name a few of her hobbies. She fought gracefully and ferociously tooth and nail on an incredibly scary journey with pancreatic cancer. But, she never let it stop her. She always kept going and continued praying. Crissy Mom never stopped farming, hunting, golfing, or traveling while she battled pancreatic cancer. During her time she took many trips around the US and abroad. She competed in many golf tournaments, acquiring many trophies. She tagged out on her hunting seasons and made jerky. Crystel continued to give flying lessons, till she felt the chemo was taking a toll on her. Crissy mom never stopped farming or working cows until winter came and it was too cold for her to be outside. We were blessed to go to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN three separate times for treatments and surgery. Through all the chemo, radiation, and surgeries our beloved Mother never lost her spirit and joy for her family and life itself. Our beautiful Crystel Baladez was a selfless angel and her last wish was to donate her body to science and research to help the next person and generation be more successful. Crissy mom, we love you most!
