Debra "Debbie" Louise Owens
Tribute
Debra “Debbie” Louise Owens, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2024, surrounded in love by family and friends, at the age of 72. Debbie enjoyed crocheting, sewing, wreath making, diamond painting, buying fabric she was never going to use, constantly searching for a new crafting hobby, and going to Disney World. That being said, sewing was by far Debbie’s favorite hobby. She taught her granddaughter Kearney how to sew, who then turned that skill into a thriving career, delighting Debbie and filling her with joy at being able to pass on her passion for sewing. Debbie’s other great passion was her love of small, annoying dogs. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Glenna and Ralph Williams, her three Aunts, Betty Bubbert, Laura Cook, and Carma Taylor, her grandparents, Chester and Mary Young, her daughter, Teresa Ann Owens, and her two siblings Mary Cox and Chester Williams. Debbie is survived by her children Patti Lee and Vikki Sawyer, her grandchildren Kearney and Steven (Squid) Starr, Keven Harding, and several great-grandchildren. Debbie suffered from many health problems and decided to donate her body to science in an effort to help others. Hey Nice Lady, Your song may have ended but the melody lingers on. Your life was a blessing; Your memory is our greatest treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. Rest Easy Momma, we got it from here.
