Dennis Nemser

My father Dennis Harvey Nemser was born in New York in 1949. Unfortunately, he passed away on June 9th due to being an alcoholic. One severe consequence of chronic alcoholism is "wet brain," medically known as Wernicke-Korsakoff Syndrome (WKS). WKS is a neurodegenerative disorder due to chronic alcohol abuse. Science Care was able to coordinate registration, screening, and unfortunately my father’s passing within 24 hours. My wish for participating in this program would be the possibility to save a life with my dad's passing.
