Tribute

Our dear mother, Donna Alberts, passed away on August 13, 2025. She was the heartbeat of our family and a constant source of encouragement, wisdom, and love. Her absence leaves a hole that cannot be filled until we meet again in heaven. Donna grew up in Two Rivers, WI and lived in South Dakota, Georgia, and lastly in Texas. Throughout her life, she was an office worker, a lab tester, and a sales associate for Wal-Mart. She always said that she wanted to spend her golden years away from cold weather and snow, so she chose to stay in Texas. Donna’s sister, Verna, passed away six weeks prior to her death, but she leaves behind friends who will miss her dearly. Her son lives in Spearfish, S.D., and her daughter lives in Spring, TX. She also leaves behind grandchildren and great-grandchildren in S.D. As per Donnas’s wishes, she has donated her body to science. It’s her final gift. Donna is much happier now with the Lord and wouldn’t want us to be sad. It’s only a temporary separation until we can all reunite with our heavenly Father. We will always have our memories of her.
