Tribute

My beautiful mother Donna lived her life feral, wild, free, exactly as she wished. She skydived, scuba dived, traveled, was a beauty queen, & rescued almost anything on land and sea. As a child living in the small town prairies of Saskatchewan Canada, she told stories of a coyote cub and simple life. I always found her happiest when we were talking about critter rescue success stories. This she instilled in me and her grandchildren. She left Canada to come to America in the 60s and made California her happy home. She was a friend to many, but had some special strays that were more like family. I was blessed to have some come into my life to continue the positive memory of my mum's legacy. She believed in Science Care full body donation, because to her it was recycling. The vessel she had used, she was done with. She had bigger plans for the life after and a strong faith about it. No longer a prisoner of her mind and body, once again feral, wild, and free.

Friends & Family

She leaves behind me, her daughter, Jennifer. Her son David. Her grandchildren, Zachary, Jessica, and Gavin. And those who have become family: Naomi, Julia, Lisa... neighbors who looked out for her. Her sweetheart, David Winters. All our family in Canada. We're so thankful for all your support And to all the critters that made her life joyful.
