Eleanor Weigel

Tribute

Eleanor Weigel was an amazing Mom. She was always there for my brothers and I no matter what. She went to Nursing school while being a full time Mom. She then spent over 30 years working with the geriatric population and she had a positive impact on numerous lives. Even after retiring, she reached out and gave support and encouragement to so many people. When Mom wasn't working she liked to travel - she went to Germany several times and also Italy, France, Hawaii and China. She was my biggest cheerleader throughout college and grad school. And Mom loved to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to tell jokes, even if she couldn't remember the punch line. Mom used to say her middle name was "Trouble" because she was always causing mischief. I miss Mom every day but I'm so grateful for all the time we spent together.
