Tribute

In loving memory of Frank Howard Gould, born on May 30, 1954, in Dodge City, Kansas, he peacefully passed away in his sleep on January 8, 2024, in Natchez, Mississippi after a courageous battle with vascular dementia. Frank, a widower, was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lois Gould (Derezinski). He is survived by two sisters, Christine Mastaler (Steve), Leslie Gould, his only daughter, Rachel Nicole of Colorado Springs, and three adoring grandchildren – Harper (12), Addie (6), and Noah (2). A man of diverse passions, Frank found joy behind the lens, drawing inspiration from the works of Ansel Adams. His fascination with science and the cosmos was as vast as the universe itself. Frank’s soul resonated with the timeless tunes of Pink Floyd, and his imagination soared with the tales of J.R.R. Tolkien. His legacy lives on through the memories he created and the love he shared. In honoring Frank’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, his body has been selflessly donated to ScienceCare. This decision reflects his desire for continued learning and contributes to a greater understanding of the sciences. May Frank Howard Gould rest in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of curiosity, creativity, and love.
