Tribute

Frank Eli Lowe III, lovingly known as “Durty,” passed away peacefully with loving, supportive family by his side on April 3, 2026, at 11:55 p.m., at the age of 55. He battled with Osteogenic Sarcoma that metastasized. Born on December 22, 1970, Frank was a devoted father, proud grandfather, and a man whose presence filled any room with laughter, strength, and love. A mechanic by trade, he had a natural gift for fixing things; he could even diagnose a vehicle over the phone. He was a mentor to many, and what truly defined him was his ability to love deeply and unconditionally. He had a heart of gold and lived the life he loved, always finding joy in his family and in the moments they shared and created, placing little to no value on materialistic items. Frank endured tremendous pain and suffering throughout his courageous battle with cancer, facing it with a strength and bravery that reflected the kind of man he was. Now, he is finally at peace, free from pain, and resting in the comfort he longed for. He shared a special and immeasurable bond with his daughter and granddaughter, Kimberly Lowe-Perez and Alice Lowe-Witcher, who brought him endless joy and light. His love for them was profound, and it will live on with them always. Known for his humor and spirit, Frank would often say he was “busier than a one-legged man in an ass-kicking contest”—but now, he is finally at rest. No longer burdened, no longer in pain, and, as he might have joked, no longer “half-assed,” but whole and at peace. Frank will be remembered for his strength, his laughter, his unwavering love, and the way he made people feel. His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
