Frank Tatara

Tribute

Frank was of 100% Polish ancestry. Born to Stella (Marszalek) and Frank J. Tatara and raised on the south side of Chicago, he has one sister, Carol (McBride) of Louisiana. He received a degree in Chemical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and worked at Sinclair Refinery in East Chicago, In. In 1966, he married Sandra (Hill). They had two sons, Michael (Helen Kurtz) and Mark (Kaye Hood Tatara), four grandchildren, John, Lily, Henry, and Stella. He loved airplanes and attended many air shows. He was an avid photographer and spent many hours in his darkroom. Frank was a generous, kind, and gentle man who worked hard to give his family a good life. Rest in peace🙏❤️
