Gary Bannasch was a deeply loving husband and a devoted father whose presence made his family feel safe, always cherished, and over-the-moon happy…Though he passed away on July 23, 2026, the love and kindness he always gave will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew him…To his wife Angela, Gary was more than a husband—he was a partner, a comfort, her best friend, and a steady source of love she never experienced before. His easygoing personality and kindness showed in both the meaningful moments and even those days not always deserved… the care he gave without question or judgement, the laughter he shared, and the way he ALWAYS made home feel warmer simply by being there...especially when he’d walk through the door after a long workday at 3:15 pm 😢. “He loved and missed his girls... my family,” he would always say…Gary’s love for his joy and gift, his beautiful daughter, Olivia, was immeasurable and beyond any words. At just seven years old, she has been blessed with a father who loved her completely and so proudly. The simple little memories they made together were huge —the little conversations while sitting out in the front yard together, the constant hugs, and the " I love yous " shared between them, which were always too many to be able to count…her sweet face overjoyed with happiness when she would ask her daddy, “Would you play cars with me?” After he’d say yes….Sharing her huge Hot Wheels collection over little chats was just one of many treasures she will carry with her throughout her life. May his love always continue to guide her, surround her, and remind her that she will always be his sweet girl, aka: best friend and his “sugar booger” 😉. Gary will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the love he forever planted in his family’s hearts. His absence is felt profoundly, but his spirit lives on in Olivia’s smile, in the memories held close, and in the enduring bond of a family forever changed by his love. He was, and always will be, a beloved husband, the most amazing father, and a precious part of the lives he touched every day.
