Tribute

September 24, 1942 – April 21, 2023; Only Child to the late Andrew and Juliette Hirsch of San Francisco, CA. First and only US-born son of the Bavarian Hirsch Family and the Guatemalan Stahl family; Loving Husband to the late Susan L. Remler-Hirsch (1949-2023). Married 35+ years, living in Sonoma, California then moving and retiring in Orlando Florida. Drafted into and served the US Army during the Vietnam War. Airline Customer Service employee working his entire career for United Airlines, 30 years at San Francisco International (SFO) transferring and finishing his United tenure at Orlando International Airport (MCO). After retiring from United, Sue and George worked for their local Publix Grocery Store and were beloved by their community. Survived by loving son, Edward Andrew (49), daughter-in-law, Michelle, and only Grandson, Andrew George (17) of Cotati, CA. Also survived by loving family in Germany including cousins, Brigette (and Georg) Oppelt and Helga (and Erich) Harold of Buchau, Germany; Monika Merkel of Bayreuth, Germany; and Georg (and Marianna) of Mengersreuth, Germany
