In Memory of a Wonderful Man, Husband, Father, and Grandfather. A resident of the United States and a Colombian national, he was a responsible, hardworking, honest, friendly man, always willing to help others. But above all his qualities, those of us who loved him will remember his big heart, his integrity, his kindness, and that wonderful sense of humor that made the moments we shared even more special. He was an extraordinary and exemplary person whose presence left a deep mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a very particular way of showing love, but I never doubted that love. His life was marked by hard work and dedication. Thank you for teaching me so many things and, especially, for passing on to me your love for animals and nature. Those small and great lessons are now a part of me and will always be a way for me to feel close to you. I will always remember you. As a husband, he was a companion, a friend, and a source of support. He shared dreams, joys, and difficult moments, always walking hand in hand with the person he loved. My love, as I told you, you will forever remain in my heart. Thank you for sharing your life with me, for walking by my side, and for being my life partner and my teammate. Thank you for every moment, every smile, and every memory that I now treasure as some of the greatest treasures of my life. As a father, you left us an example of a life built on hard work, responsibility, honesty, and respect. Your advice and the way you faced life will always remain with us. As a grandfather, you gave your grandchildren moments that will remain forever in their hearts. They will remember your affection, your stories, your funny antics, and your ability to always find a reason to smile and enjoy life. Dear Lilo, Lilo was a very important person to me. He was very kind, funny, and fun to be around. I loved spending time with him; he was wonderful. I especially loved when we made paper airplanes and shared those moments together. I love him, and I will always remember him with great affection. Today, we deeply feel your absence and the emptiness your passing has left behind. But we also feel an immense sense of gratitude for having shared your life, your love, and so many moments that have now become memories we will cherish forever. We know that saying goodbye to you does not mean forgetting you. You will continue to be present in our stories, in our family gatherings, in our smiles, in our love for animals and nature, and in every lesson you left within us. Your life was a gift to everyone who knew you. Your memory will be eternal, and your legacy will continue to live on in each one of us. We do not say goodbye, but rather, until we meet again. Because true love remains beyond absence and beyond time.
