Tribute

Skee was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 01, 1948. He was raised in San Diego and died with his wife, son, grandson, sister and brother in law by his side on July 26, 2022 in El Cajon, California. Skee loved to surf when he was young, joining the Navy at the age of 17 and served for more than a year. He had a Bachelor degree in History. He worked as a Recreational Therapist helping kids with mental health problems. He was very intelligent, athletic, funny and had a great smile. He loved History and Geography. He loved music and knew all the lyrics of all the songs. He loved playing golf, Bridge, spades, scrabble, and backgammon. He loved all sports. He loved watching TV especially news and old movies. He loved to go to the pool and sunbathe. He had a big heart, was loving and caring. The day you left and gained your wings my heart just broke in two. Skee, you were the center of my world, you meant everything to me, the love I have for you now, will last an eternity and I will always miss your warmth, your strength, your lovely smile. I know I cannot bring you back, but I strongly wish I could see your face again. If I could have you back just for a little while and hug and kiss you and spend some time with you again but I know you are in a special place, a place of peace and love where we will meet again, some day. The fact that you are no longer here will always cause me pain but you are forever in my heart until we meet again. Thank you for loving me - Piedad Strzelecki
