Tribute

My mother Helen loved her dogs and always had 1 or more by her side her entire life, they were her faithful companions. She also had a love for Horses and enjoyed watching daily racing as well as the derby races. Helen was a master bridge player and enjoyed playing in tournaments. Helen enjoyed cruising and was able to enjoy many cruises throughout the world with family, friends, and significant others. My mother was born in Czechoslovakia and came to the US when she was 7. Her father worked for Kodak & Land as an inventor and his work is displayed at the Smithsonian. Her Great Uncle was Mahler, the famous composer. My mother was a strong woman but had endured many medical issues for most of her life. She lost (2) children, Susan at age 21 from Hodgkin's and Bobby at age 54 from a Heart attack. My mother passed away peacefully with her family and friends by her side.
