James Boyce

Tribute

Jim was born in Seattle on May 19, 1941. He and his sister Marilyn (Ralph) Brown lived in Washington until retiring to Arizona with his wife Carol in 2020. Jim was a loving husband, a father of 3/children - Lisa (Bob)Mahitka, children Danielle(David) Brinkerhoff and Devin (Alisia) Mahitka, Tim (Tami) Boyce, children Connor Ponath and Teagan Ponath, Tony (Anna)Boyce- children Halie (Ronnie) Flowers and Samantha,(David) Davis, grandfather to 9 and several great gkids. Jim so loved his Baseball, was a Mariners and AZ Diamondbacks fan…really all Baseball Teams that were on top for the year! He was known for singing his Happy Birthday rendition to one and all! Loved jokes and milk Chocolate candy. Seafood -crab legs and scallops were his favorite! Most favorite pastime was watching whales in the ocean or spending time at sunset on river docks talking to fishermen … or just about anyone! He had a special way of making friends and engaging conversation wherever he went! He will be greatly missed by family and friends!
