Tribute

Janet Victoria Piwowar, 77, of Plainfield, Illinois, died of natural causes on January 16, 2024. She was born in Chicago in 1946 to Victor and Eldona Savickas and lived on the North Side for many years. Janet lived to serve those around her. Janet worked at Marmon Keystone for most of her career and loved the friends she made while working there. Janet was an illogical feminist at heart and those who know her “famous” saying will laugh when thinking about this. Janet was preceded in death by her husband of over 40 years Robert, her sister Barbara, and her brother Vic. Janet is survived by her two adult children Victoria and Robert Jr. She also has four grandchildren Elizabeth, Isabella, Marcellus, and Max. She leaves behind even more loving family members who were by her side until the end. The family is honoring Janet’s wishes and will be holding a celebration of life for her in the future when Bob and Jan will be joined again for eternity.
