Jay Gennaro
Tribute
My husband wore his heart on his sleeve since the day I met him at 16 years old. Jay loved ALL Philly teams and was a true sports fan. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many hours by the water. Unfortunately, brain cancer stole my husbands life at the age of 32 and he succumbed to his fate at the young, innocent, age of 44 after a long battle with glioblastoma. We will miss his sense of humor and are so proud of him in every way. True to Jay's nature, he wanted to donate his body to science to try to help save someone in the future of this cruel disease.
Friends & Family
Survived by his wife, Stephanie and their two sons, Justan and Joseph, three half siblings, mother, the best Uncle ever to 12 nieces and nephews, two sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws, mother-in-law, father-in-law, amongst many cousins, Aunts, Uncles and life long friends. He will be missed more than words can describe.
