Jean was devoted to her family & friends, always inviting us to come visit. In New Jersey, at Lake Hopatcong, we sailed & had many picnics. In New Mexico, she wanted us to come see the balloon festival & Audubon preserve. She supported her friend & housemate, Joann, for years, after a bad car accident. Jackie remembers a visit to the Statue of Liberty & her 1st fondue with Jean & Joann. David saw her in Philly when she sang with the Sweet Adelines barbershop chorus. She gave me my 1st book on women's history, introducing me to Harriet Tubman, Frances Perkins & Mother Jones.
