Jerry Wigodsky
Tribute
Jerald (Jerry) Lee Wigodsky peacefully shed his earthly body, Sunday June 26, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Durango, Colorado. Jerry was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on July 20, 1939. He was proceeded in death by his parents Dave and Dena and brother Steve. Jerry married the love of his life Judy, graduated from Montana State University, and became a residential contractor in Scottsdale, Arizona before moving to Colorado to pursue his love of fishing and hunting. Along the Summit Ridge he built two family homes, hauling water, chopping wood and raising chickens, he created a special place for his children and grandchildren to visit. Holidays and vacations with "Bopa and Mema" are the most special memories for the family. In Colorado, Jerry worked for the City of Cortez for a number of years until he had a debilitating stroke in 2000. Jerry and Judy were able to spend the next 20 years wintering in Arizona, making new friendships and riding ATV's, one of his favorite hobbies. However, southwest Colorado was always his home. The family will miss our Bopa but we are grateful he is no longer suffering. Save us a place in Heaven , we will all be together again!
