John Ross Everett, 73, of Gun Barrell City, Texas, passed away on December 12, 2023. He was born on March 19, 1950. John is survived by his loving family: Wife; Annette Everett, Children; Ross Everett and wife Ashley Everett, Collier Hancock and husband Seth Hancock, Brett Everett-Miller and husband Casey Miller, Jodi Cason and husband Chris Cason, and Chris Hamilton and wife DeeDee Hamilton, Grandchildren; Ruby Hancock, Ryder Everett, Guy Hancock, Carter Miller, Cash Miller, Kellen Cason, Cameron Cason, Hayden Cason, and Maddie Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnia Everett, his step-father, Bernie Everett, and his father, Ralph Pyszynski. John attended Irving High School and later played football at the University of North Texas. He had a passion for golf and traveling, both of which brought him much joy throughout his life. Services for John Ross Everett will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to the University of North Texas Letterman’s Association and the Center for Brain Health Research Center. May John Ross Everett rest in peace and may his memory be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
