Tribute

“Tav” was an extraordinary & very intelligent man. He was Army Green Beret in the Vietnam War & came back to join the Tempe PD. Born & raised in Brooklyn, NY he came to Az with childhood friends to go to ASU. He met his wife Kay, they married & had 2 children. He was a great father, Hunter & sharp shooter. His children knew more about weapons and hunting than kids do today. He taught his kids to hunt, camp, fish & his baby girl he taught his love of the ocean. To snorkel and then scuba class at age 11 for her, she was/is his Mini Me, she has his looks and skills and intelligence for that’s what he taught her. His oldest, his Son has his intelligence & family values. His humor was infectious & had that zing to it that only a New Yorker gets… Tav is missed so much by his wife & kids but knows they will always be together. To say this isn’t even the tip of the iceberg is an understatement, as I’m sure we all know….we can never say enough to express how much he meant to us and how much we miss him. He was, is & always shall be my Pop’s, my hero, my whole world. I love you Daddy.
