Judith Moser Routzahn, 82, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 1, 2026, in Quincy, PA. Born on March 22, 1944, she grew up in the quaint town of Wolfsville, MD. Judith was the cherished daughter of Hoy and Mary Moser. Her life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. Judith was predeceased by her husband, James Routzahn, and her brothers, Warren, Charles, and Ronald Moser. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Carson, and her husband, Gary, as well as her son, Timothy Routzahn. Grandchildren, Tucker and Kegan Routzahn. Throughout her years, Judith was known for her tireless work ethic, holding various jobs to support her family. Her last position involved stocking greeting cards in stores, a hobby she cherished deeply, as she found joy in the warmth and connection that cards could bring. Her love of greeting cards was only surpassed by her devotion to her faith. She was an avid reader of the Bible and found solace in attending church services. When unable to attend in person, she found comfort in watching sermons on television. Her passion for Biblical stories took her to Sight and Sound in Lancaster, where she enjoyed the captivating plays that brought scripture to life. Judith had an adventurous spirit, having traveled to places as far as Australia, and she never met a stranger. Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life was a testament to her open heart and generous spirit. She maintained close relationships with friends both near and far through the art of letter writing, phone calls, and heartfelt cards. Her compassion extended beyond her immediate circle, as she consistently supported veterans, Native American children, and other causes that touched her heart. Judith's life was rich with love, laughter, and an enduring faith that inspired those around her. Her family shares a special message in remembrance of her: "Billy Graham once said, 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him... Heaven awaits us, and that will be far, far more glorious than anything we can ever imagine.'" Judith's warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew her. In her memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to organizations supporting veterans and Native American children, causes that were dear to her heart. Her legacy will continue to inspire and comfort those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her life. She donated her body to science, so there will not be a Funeral or Memorial at this time.
