Judy Daly
Tribute
My dear mother was such a loving and giving woman. She went from being relatively poor to a successful job in Silicon Valley, to then again being financially challenged in her old age. You would never know it though because she literally gave people her last dollar. I should be so lucky to have a small amount of her generosity and caring in my make up. My mom had dreams of becoming a Broadway actress and she was in many plays and performances in her young adult life. She had the gift of gab and had an amazing command of the English language. Because she loved people so much she decided to get into Human Resources after working at Almaden Vineyards on the factory line for many years. My mom moved up the ladder to Leadership in HR but she also had an exceptional design eye and would do interior design on the side. Our homes were showplaces! She had been an active member in her Episcopal Church for many many years and loved religion. In her spare time, she was an avid reader and loved to garden. She also loved clothes and had an impeccable style. Her passing was sudden and has left me broken. I will forever miss her and wish she was around… Chef’s kiss to my astounding mother in the heavens.
