Tribute

Karen dedicated her life to helping others. A medic at heart, she answered the call to care for people through some of the hardest moments of their lives. Even after an accident ended her career, it never diminished who she was. She remained a medic in every sense that mattered—always ready with advice, compassion, and a desire to help anyone in need. To those who knew her, Karen will be remembered not only for what she did, but for who she was—a woman of strength, resilience, generosity, and unwavering compassion. She was a devoted and loving mother who always wanted the very best for her family. Guided by a deep and steadfast faith, she found strength through life's greatest challenges and shared that hope and love with those around her. Even in difficult times, her caring nature never faded. Karen's final gift was one that perfectly reflected the life she lived. By donating her body to science, she chose to continue helping others even after her passing. Her selfless decision will contribute to education, research, and the advancement of medicine, allowing her legacy of healing to live on. Though she will be deeply missed, we find comfort in knowing that her compassion continues to make a difference. Her laughter, her caring heart, her unwavering faith, and her lifelong commitment to helping others will never be forgotten. Her legacy lives on not only in the lives she touched, but also in the knowledge and hope her final gift will provide for generations to come.
