Tribute

Katherine (Kathy) Stampfel was married to her high school sweetheart, James Stampfel (preceded in death 2016) for over 50 years. Although born in New York, Kathy moved to California at a very young age. It is here where she met James, was married, and raised their family. Together, they had three kids: Victoria, Jeanette, and Edward. Kathy loved all things California! There was no other place she would dream of living. In addition, if you know Kathy, you knew she loved cats! Not a time in her life went by when she didn't own a cat, or three. She loved to spend time with her best furry friends while she put together puzzles or watched her favorite TV shows. Most of all, Kathy is the proud grandmother of six grandchildren. She loved sharing stories and bragging about each one of them. Now, may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. (2 Thessalonians 3:16) Mom, we miss you and love you always ~ Victoria, Jeanette, and Edward

Kathy is survived by her three grown children, Victoria Stampfel, Jeanette Garcia, and Edward (Susan) Stampfel, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, her brother Richard Barber, and sisters Jeanette (Ron) Chacon, and Josephine Valencia.
