Tribute

Dr. Kerry Abaco Reckson passed away July 10th, 2023 after a long battle with Benson's Syndrome, a form of Alzheimer's that also includes total blindness, an unbelievably cruel disease. Kerry was born in Miami Beach and lived in South Florida for many years. Kerry bravely fought this disease for many years but ultimately Alzheimer's eventually takes away the mind and in Kerry's case, also his vision. Kerry loved the ocean and as a young man took off one day to sail the world returning 8 years later. Upon returning Kerry went back to school and became a doctor feeling that helping people was his real calling. Kerry moved to Panama City, Florida where he made many friends and spent the rest of his life. Kerry is survived by daughters Kudra and Sari, son Joss, and brother Jeff Reckson, cousin Michael Raulson. Many thanks to the people at Hospice who were able to provide peace and tranquility to Kerry in his final days. As per his request, no ceremony but memorial donations to cates house in Ocala are appreciated.
