Our father was born in India and later made the United States his home, where he lived for more than 25 years. Throughout his life, he carried with him the traditions and values of his roots, while also embracing the opportunities of his adopted country. His journey was one of hard work, sacrifice, and love for his family, and he built a life that reflected integrity and compassion in everything he did. One of the greatest qualities our father possessed was his unwavering honesty. He lived his entire life with the highest sense of loyalty and fairness. He never took what was not his, not even a single extra penny. His honesty was not just a principle, but a way of life, and everyone who knew him respected him deeply for it. His character was a shining example of how to live with dignity and truth. As a father, he was endlessly supportive. He never opposed the choices his children made. Instead, he trusted us fully, believing with all his heart that we would always do the right thing. That trust and faith gave us the freedom to grow, to make decisions, and to live confidently, knowing that we always had his encouragement. His quiet confidence in us shaped who we are today, and for that, we will always be grateful. Outside of his role as a father and husband, he found joy in simple pleasures. He loved watching television, often finding comfort and relaxation in it after long days. Most of all, he was a devoted cricket fan. The sport brought him joy and excitement, and his passion for the game was something that connected him to his heritage while also bringing fun into his everyday life. Our father will be remembered not only for his honesty and loyalty but also for the love he shared so generously with his family. He touched the lives of those around him with his warmth, his integrity, and his unwavering support. He was a man who valued what truly mattered: family, love, and living an honest life. Even in his final gift — the donation of his body to science — he demonstrated selflessness. His decision ensures that future generations will benefit from his generosity through advancements in medicine and education. In this way, his legacy continues to touch lives beyond those who knew him personally. Though he is no longer with us, his memory lives on in the values he instilled, the love he gave, and the example he set. We are proud to call him our father and honored to carry forward the lessons he taught us. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his legacy one of honesty, loyalty, and love that will remain with us always.
