Tribute

Kristopher Deal fought the battle as a warrior and advocate for facing kidney cancer. He was diagnosed in 2016 after a visit to the ER after a fall down icy steps. He had no symptoms to indicate cancer. He had surgery to remove tumor and was thought to be cancer free. In 2018, the cancer spread to his lungs which began the journey of treatments and scans to monitor the progression of disease. During his cancer experience, Kris created a YouTube Channel called Stage 4 Journey to document his experiences and to help others that may be facing cancer or a life-threatening disease. Amazingly, he reached people from around the world with his videos. He touched so many lives via video and in person as he faced cancer with a perspective of "It Is A Great Day To Be Alive" as celebrating another day of life. Kris chose to donate his body to Science Care in hopes of supporting cancer research and toward a cure to this awful disease. He chose to keep giving even after his death.
