Tribute

Linwood Keith Lewis, of La Crosse, VA, passed away at the age of 65 on Saturday, July 16, 2022. He was a proud Veteran of the US Army, 82nd Airborne Division, receiving the Parachute Badge, Rifle M-16 Expert Badge, Multinational Forces Observers Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medals, Army Commendation Medal, and NCO Professional Development Ribbon. He had an incredible talent in woodworking, and he would give the shirt off his back if you ever asked for help. His love for his family & friends and his sense of humor will be missed the most. It was his wish not to have a service. Instead, and in lieu of flowers, please pay it forward in his memory. Some of his favorites were to pay for a veteran’s meal, help a stranger out, or donate in some way to a charity.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Martin and Lawrence Lewis; and his brother, Gary Collier. Leaving to cherish his memory are his 3 daughters, April, Kristine and Robin; the mother of his children, Margaret; grandchildren, Damian, Dayoni, and Aiden; his sisters, Peggy, Candy, Lisa, and Macy; his brother, Sam; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
