Tribute

Margaret, also known as Honey to her grandchildren, was passionate about her family and friends. She was a friend and welcoming to all people she met. Always willing to lend a helping hand and a compassionate ear, she fiercely loved each of us and helped bring out the best in us. Her talents extended to elaborate meals (she loved to bring her family and friends together around the dinner table), crafting and sewing, stained glass making, gardening, and she shared these talents with all and encouraged us to nurture our own talents. Margaret was always willing to share her wide and varied knowledge about all subjects with anyone who would listen. Margaret and Brian loved to travel. They traveled across the world, from SCUBA excursions, to Europe, to RV camping across the country, to visiting friends and family across the US. You would frequently find her outdoors, no matter the weather. She was an avid and accomplished master gardener who loved to share her passions with everyone and was happiest in her yard. After raising her family, she embarked on a career of gardening and landscaping at Mo-Ranch in Hunt, TX. She is deeply missed and loved by her family. We take pride in seeing parts of her personality and the knowledge she shared with each of us. Her impact on our lives will be forever felt and passed on to her grandchildren.
