Her most rewarding experience was serving as a Fire Commissioner for 12 years in North Collier County, FL and she was especially proud to support firefighters and first responders in the Naples community. The youngest of seven children, Peggy attended Western Michigan University and Saginaw Valley State University. Peggy and Hugh shared their commitment to public education, supporting their children and youth in the community to help them receive technical training or achieve a higher education degree. A celebration of life service will be at Silver Maples of Chelsea, Michigan, by invitation. The immediate family will host a private luncheon in Bay City, MI.
