It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our Maria “ Molly”, who passed away on 11/13/24 at the age of 67. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and devoted friend. She was a shining light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Born on June 4, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio. Maria lived a life filled with laughter, kindness, and boundless love. Whether it was through music, cooking, or simply helping someone in need. She had a way of making those around her feel seen and appreciated. Maria was always ready to lend a hand or an ear, and had a remarkable gift for bringing joy into every room she entered. Maria cherished the time spent with loved ones, creating memories that will forever remain in our hearts.

Friends & Family

Maria leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love that will never be forgotten. Maria is survived by her children Mario (Terrie) Gonzalez, Monica Gonzalez, Beka Shakur, Sophia (Lezgin) Gumus; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Andres (Barb) Gonzalez and Juan (Amy) Gonzalez. Maria will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Gomez; siblings Albert Sanchez, Alice Flores, Tomas Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Elida Polomo, Linda Curry, and Elisa Gonzalez. A Celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday December 13,2024 from 5:30pm-8:30pm at Friendship Park located at 2930 131st St. Point Place Ohio with an after party at The Cantina.
