Marlene Oplt, 86, passed away on May 25, 2026, after suffering a stroke. Marlene was a devoted mother of 7, grandmother of 9, and great-grandmother of 3 whose love for her family was evident throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and Earl Howard who also donated their bodies in 1987. Marlene found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing electronic solitaire and could often be found enjoying old game shows. She cherished time spent with her family and took pride in watching her family grow through the generations. She enjoyed traveling to see her out-of-state grandchildren as well to visit nature around the country. Marlene will be remembered for her strength, her quiet enjoyment of life's simple moments, and the love she shared with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
