Marvin Eugene Hoskins, born on August 30, 1957, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on April 6, 2024, in Chandler, Arizona, at the age of 66. Marvin was a man who lived life on his own terms, displaying resilience and determination throughout his journey. Despite facing challenges, he devoted 12 years to working as a Retail Merchandiser, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment. In 2000, Marvin made a significant move to Mesa, AZ, where he found solace and support from his beloved Aunt and Uncle, John and Ola Heard. He cherished the time he spent with his family and embraced the moments that brought him joy. A private service will be held on April 6, 2025, in Chicago, Ill. Marvin's strength, resilience and love fir his family will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Marvin's legacy is carried on by his surviving family members, including his only sister, Ola Hoskins, Brother Eric Hoskins, Cousin Jonelle Heard, His daughters, Marvinna, Antionette, Jutoi, Kequa, Tyann, and Akenya, along with a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Hoskins, Brother Maury Hoskins, and grandmother Piccola Houston. His favorite Aunt and Uncle John and Ola Heard and Nephew Olajuwon Milligan.
