Melvin was always very easygoing and loved to joke about everything. He never got really angry… he always kept his cool and carried on. He was not a complainer at all. He simply shouldered whatever life threw at him. He was selfless, always thinking and doing for others, especially family. Donating his body to medical science continued his selfless character even after death. Family was very important to him, and he spent countless hours of his time doing things for them and with them. His interests included music, cars, motorcycles, golf, and creating things with his building skills. His mind and spirit were strong to the very end, and we are so grateful he was a part of our lives.
