Tribute

Nancy was born on November 9, 1954, in Miami, Florida, to William and Linda (Murphey) Luther. She married Lauren F. Endres on June 25, 1977, in Ottawa. He preceded her in death on April 2, 2016. Nancy enjoyed crafting, shopping, bowling, and had a fondness for horses. Growing up, there was never an animal without a home; any stray was taken in, of course, Bill and Linda were not usually thrilled, but they always seemed to oblige. She loved to meet people, and those who didn’t know her were not strangers when the conversation was over. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, including going out for a meal, taking road trips, especially to the St. Louis metro area, and playing board games. Nancy was an avid St. Louis sports fan and could be found glued to a television or radio to cheer on the Cardinals and the Blues. She worked at several factories through the years, and most recently retired from Seattle Sutton in Ottawa. Nancy was a past volunteer at the Ottawa Pads Shelter. She was a 1972 graduate of Ottawa High School, a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, and frequently attended First United Methodist Church in Ottawa. Nancy was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 295 in Yorkville and a member of Bethel #52 Job’s Daughters of Ottawa.
