Tribute

Pamela was a strong and determined woman. She had a deep-rooted love and loyalty for her family. Her journey through life was marked not only by the roles she filled—daughter, sister, friend, neighbor—but also by the depth of love she poured into each of them. When she passed away after battling lung cancer, her life did not end in silence. Instead, it echoed forward in a remarkable final gift: she chose to donate her body to medical research, ensuring that her story continues in ways that may save or improve lives for generations to come. Pamela’s battle with lung cancer revealed the strength and grace she had carried all along. When she received her diagnosis, she refused to be consumed by despair. Instead, she approached each step with courage, honesty, and even humor. Everyone knew how much Pam enjoyed her wine, radio, and patio time! Though her body grew weaker, Pamela’s spirit never wavered. Her decision to donate her body to medical research was a natural extension of her lifelong values. That act of generosity is a powerful part of her legacy. While she may no longer be physically present, Pamela has become a teacher, guiding researchers and students as they work toward progress that could change countless lives. Her gift is not one of sorrow but of hope, pointing forward to the possibility of breakthroughs and healing yet to come.

Friends & Family
